The Liberty Patriots recorded a dominant 90–50 win over the Spring Valley Grizzlies, thanks to an explosive performance by 6’5” junior guard/forward Dante Steward. Steward led all scorers with 35 points, adding 10 rebounds (4 offensive, 6 defensive) and 3 assists. His aggressive play on the boards created valuable second-chance opportunities, setting the tone early for Liberty.
Senior guard Jaden Riley contributed 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists, providing key leadership down the stretch. Meanwhile, sophomore guard Jalen Parker continued his emergence in the starting lineup, tallying 19 points, including 5-for-6 from three-point range.
With the win, Liberty improves to 7–9 on the season. They remain focused on making a strong finish to secure their place in the competitive Nevada 5A playoffs, where teams like Mojave, Coronado, and Bishop Gorman loom. This young Patriots squad will need every bit of Steward’s scoring, Riley’s experience, and Parker’s sharp shooting to navigate the challenges ahead.
