Brett Harrison is the Nevada Scouting Director for Prep Baseball Report (PBR). A standout middle infielder at Green Valley HS, Brett was drafted in the 18th round and signed with the Detroit Tigers out of high school in 2011. Unfortunately, an arm injury cut his four-year professional career short.
Undeterred, Brett returned to school to earn his business degree at UNLV, where he also served as a student manager. He grew up in the golden age of Las Vegas baseball alongside the likes of Bryce Harper, Kris Bryant, and Joey Gallo. Brett has also helped coach at his alma mater, Green Valley HS, where his brother Matt is now the head coach.
In addition to his work in baseball, Brett previously worked with the Vegas Golden Knights for three years and coached travel baseball. His diverse experience within the sport, from player to coach to scout, gives him a unique perspective that he brings to his role at PBR.
In his role at PBR, Brett scouts and reports on up-and-coming talent in the region. His keen eye for talent and comprehensive understanding of the sport have made him an invaluable asset to the PBR team. His work has been instrumental in providing exposure to hundreds of prospects and helping countless student-athletes receive scholarship opportunities.
