Desi-Rae Yvonne Young, born on January 8, 2002, in Inglewood, California, is an American college basketball player who has made significant strides in the sport. At the age of 3, she moved with her family to Las Vegas, Nevada, and began playing basketball at the age of 12¹. Young attended Desert Oasis High School in Las Vegas, where she led the girls' basketball team in points, rebounds, and other key statistics¹. Her performance earned her Nevada All-State Team Honorable Mention, All-Southwest League Second Team, and Athlete of the Week honors¹. She currently attends the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she plays center on the UNLV Lady Rebels basketball team and studies Social Work¹.
