CJ Shaw is a standout basketball player who has made a name for himself at Mojave High School in North Las Vegas, Nevada. As a junior in the 2023-24 season, CJ, standing at 6'4" and weighing 155 lbs, played as a guard for the Mojave Varsity Basketball team. CJ's performance on the court has been nothing short of remarkable. He led Mojave to back-to-back Class 4A state championships in 2022 and 2023. In the 2023 championship game, CJ scored an impressive 37 points, leading Mojave to a 73-68 victory over Silverado. The previous year, in the 2022 championship game, he scored 26 points, securing Mojave's first state championship. His exceptional performance has earned him numerous accolades. He was named the Player of the Game multiple times and was recognized as the Player of the Year for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. CJ's scoring average of 25.8 points per game ranked him in the top 153 nationally, and he was the top player in Nevada for this stat. In addition to his high school career, CJ is currently playing for the Vegas Elite 17U EYBL club basketball team. His participation in this prestigious club further showcases his dedication and skill in the sport of basketball.
