Pleasant, Utah.… As a junior at Las Vegas\' Durango High, led the team to the state\'s No. 1 ranking after winning the Class 5A Southern League Tournament and 5A state championship... He was named a first-team All-Southern Nevada by the Las Vegas Review-Journal following his junior campaign.
